There are those moments that totally throw you off balance because they are so unexpected. While at the Wyoming Professional Photographers Association's annual convention, I had the very overwhelming honor of receiving the PPA National award.

"The PPA National Award is a prestigious honor granted annually by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and its affiliates to recognize individuals for outstanding service to the photography profession. It is considered the highest honor awarded by a PPA affiliate, featuring a plaque and pin for recipients, often presented at state or regional events."

 

To have that kind of trust and validation from my professional peers & former PPA National Award recipients is incredibly humbling. I'm actually still trying to process this lovely award.
